Alexander Brown joined TOGETHER! as our CEO in July 2026, after building a career at the intersection of public service, politics, and purpose. His public service includes legislative and external affairs roles with the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Small Business Administration, and the U.S. Department of Defense, experience that took him through the biggest stages in Democratic politics as well, including the 2020 and 2024 Harris for President campaigns, the Democratic National Committee, and the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, always to turn policy into real impact for the people it's meant to serve.

He currently leads Count Me In To Do The Right Thing, a nonprofit championing ethical, community-minded leadership, and advises clients through his firm, Point Way Forward Consulting LLC. Alexander got his start in local government as Senior Adviser to York County Councilman William Roddey, where he learned that good leadership starts on the ground, close to the community it serves.

A proud graduate of Clemson University, he founded Clemson's NAACP chapter and served as Student Body Chief of Staff, early signs of the organizer he'd become. He's a Special Congressional Recognition Award recipient and a TEDx speaker. Through his podcast, The Root of All with Alexander Brown, he brings thought leaders together to explore politics, governance, and social change, reflecting his lifelong commitment to civic engagement and community-driven leadership.
